The department is well equipped to handle all paediatric emergencies. The department has a PICU and NISC unit. Department has been handling and actively managing many underweight new born less than 1000 grams, the lowest being birth weight of 680 grams.</strong></p> </div> </div> <div class="clearfix text-formatted field field--name-field-content field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item"><p>Department is taking community health programme in a big way to identify congenital disorders and identifying underweight children and correcting it.
